The childcare practitioner can have even more of an influence on a child than a family member as they are working in larger groups and depending on their own awareness, behaviour and thinking towards equality and diversity can create a very supportive environment that enables all children to grow at their own pace in no matter their diversity to the rest of the group as the practitioner can.
